Glad you enjoyed the reading as much as I liked the writing! What Puzzles me is why someone who doesn't care for raunch would disregard the warning and dive in to what she hoped would be uplifting poetry. Surprise! (At least I got 4 stars out of the deal!) Most of it is overwhelming in the best possible way. I had just two examples of backlash for my 3-star reviews; one of them in my first week, the other just today. The first openly admitted it was a revenge review; Tom deleted it and advised me to mute the man (who had already beaten me to the punch). Today, I set out to soothe hurt feelings by seeking out something in her portfolio that would merit an honest 5; alas, I'll never know if I'd have found any--she'd already muted me; thus making her work off- limits. I was amused that she forgot to unfan me!

There are certainly different versions of the song out there now. I think we're all trying to find things to do to keep us entertained. I've been off work for a month with a broken foot so I'm a pro at this isolation thing. If ya need ideas I can give you a few.

Hello, nice to read a post of yours today at FS and thank you for sharing it, I think??? It is actually not my cup of tea as far as poetry goes. I found it to be too rude and common. I like to be lifted out of the hum drum when I read a poem.
And I'm not part of the herd of sheep racing over the cliff with Covid19. I am a fatalist and have been going about my days as usual. I've had a lovely week actually. Not as busy as some. So there are some pluses. Thousands of them really hahahaha ... perhaps millions. Bye for now, Eve.

That was quick! I certainly don't consider this "poetry"--limericks are bawdy and crude indeed--that's why I put the warnings!! Thanks for not shooting the stars on account of my offense! Re Corona--I too am a fatalist; I remain "defiantly unconfined" (I may use that; someone thought it was clever!) My job is considered an essential service--I volunteer in a food pantry; somebody has to, may as well be me! Fingers crossed. Cheers. LIZ
