Ah, what a nice entry for the antonym poem contest. Lessons learned wth age, wisdom gained. Well crafted. My only suggestion, other than adding a graphic or introducing some color would be enlarge your font to give your excellent words more weight. Well done. Good luck.

This is a very good antonym poem, author. Sometimes I forget these small forums introduce elements used in longer poetry, and of course the use of antonyms is one literary device worth learning.

That is certainly the progression we seem to follow through maturity.... we'll just stop there and not go into really old age and the return of some of the 'folly'... lol!! :) A great offering for the contest - best of luck at the polls! ;)

Excellent post. Surely you will win the contest. I will try to remember to vote. I can't imagine reading one that I would like better. Your two antonyms are perfect. And, you managed to utilize two rhymes and to incorporate a nice moral.
