Well, Martha Stewart, you have given us something to do while sequestered in our homes. My boys are of Irish descent. Perhaps I should try your recipe, yet they seem to head to Chipotle a great deal.
This was like a personal letter from you.
Loved it.
My husband's middle name is Patrick and it seemed like THAT holiday slid
right past us amid the chaos and turmoil. They even allowed bar owners and restaurants to return their overstock of alcohol purchased for special
events.
At any rate, this is so personable AND informative!

I'm amazed and truly shocked this did so well, really a blog. I'm glad you enjoyed it all. I figured we're all homebound and trying to save money AND keep good cheer among us. :) This really seem to get the job done. My family has been eating off of this pot of goodness for days. So glad to see you, dear one. Most everyone commented on how much they loved Riverdance.

No green embellished caps are required. Just a willing heart. I hope you enjoyed this and the live entertainment. We are all pretty much shut down where I live near Mickey Mouse in Orlando. Indoor fun and home cooking is my thing anyway, so I thought I'd share some Irish fun for the day.

Thanks for the recipe. We might have to try it. We have a friend, Melody Grove, a missionary to Cameroon. Her grandfather had an apple orchard years ago, and he sent them through a press making a strong apple cider. Melody introduced us to stew made with this delicious apple beverage. Of course, there was cabbage in it, too.
Our granddaughter, Alyssa, made a trap for the leprechaun's yearly visit. She' six years old, in Grade One. She cut a hole in the top of a green bowler hat, but left a half inch of material. Then she put a Loonie ($1 bill) on the opposite side of the hole from a staircase she made out of Lego. Inside the hat, right under the hole, she placed a sticky pad which was supposed to capture the little guy. After she was asleep, we took the Loonie, dismantled the Lego staircase and placed the pieces around the brim of the bowler, and placed a Kitkat bar on the sticky pad. We also poured green coloring in the toilet bowl... (she thinks the leprechaun pees green!) Fun stuff! You should have heard her the following morning! Young or old, we all love St. Patty's Day. My ancestors were kicked out of Scotland for horse thieving. They went to Ireland, and were promptly dismissed from that country as well... horse thieving. Then they went to England. The Queen sent them to North America... pronto ... before they could steal any English horses!

Well, what a delightful review. Your daymwas full of green fun and I got a bit of your ancestry. I'm actually Scottish and French with a little Welcj thrown in for good measure. I loved our visit to Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia for our wedding anniversary. It was there it bit me. Celtic anything. Especially the music and food. Oh how very delicious! I love corned beef so i will definitely be trying this recipe. Unfortunately, I love cider too, so I will have to buy double the quantity of that so I can slurp some while the meat is cooking.

Aw, thanks for stopping by. I'm so pleased you enjoyed this. This is my alcohol consumption for the year since I don't really drink at all. I so love to cook with it though. My Chicken Marsala is up for next time. Of course, I have music for the recipe picked out already. Food and fling.
