Interesting look at the past. Yes our memories can be treasured or best forgotten. I think best to try and remember the good times and perhaps count our lucky stars for overcoming dangerous situations. Lovely portrait of the 'thinking mannequin.' With her looks she would have been fortunate. Good work!

When it comes down to it, memories are something that belongs to only us. Good or bad we meet with memories on a spur of a moment. Even if we weren't searching for them, there they are. Hopefully, we have more good ones than bad ones. Very well written.

This is a wonderful poem, with things I have thought about myself. This poem really resonated with me. I love the line about tripping too many times to forgive. We all have those fears. Your image is perfect for this poem also. Very good writing, beautiful flow.

Such memories of the past, good or bad, is what has made us who we are. Many of us are in the same boat. And we question ourselves. A really lovely, well written free verse. The cadence is smooth and calming Very nice!

mom is still in rehab...but should be out Tuesday...we think...
and we are all being careful so when she comes home everything is clean...and are all washing our hands to stay safe....we stay away from crowds...that's the best we can do...you stay safe as well...God Bless my sweet friend...xxoo
