After God saved me, against my will, I couldn't bear to lose Him. I had peace when I thought I served Him well, and I was terrified when I failed in my own eyes to serve Him. I reached a point where I couldn't live unless God changed something. A friend prayed for me while I sought answers from God.
Then God told me He would never let anyone snatch me out of His hands. I had feared losing my salvation because I thought it was up to me and my performance. I always knew I would fail; I found Scriptures to support my ideas.
But after God spoke to me, I knew my salvation wasn't up to me or my works. God saved me, and He kept me, and nothing I ever do will change that.
Sometimes Scripture isn't enough, as it wasn't for me. Sometimes we need to hear from God Himself. He knows exactly what we need from Him.

I appreciate your personal experience but I can't honestly agree with the conclusions you draw from it. Scripture is not only enough. it's the only reliable truth. As a believer, you would have gone to Heaven even if you died in a state of high anxiety. God's word isod bless, Dennis true when we believe it and it's true when we don't believe it, buG
