This poem on the deadly sin pride, About the Pride, reminds the readers that pride comes before a fall and those who get puffed up and do not recognize the Lord's hands in things, will be reminded.

I am no poetic critic by any means. For me this poem was very well constructed. The message was clear from the start and it never was lost throughout the poem. Each line referred back to the central theme of pride. It can be a tricky topic to write about, but you stuck to the perspective that you have on it through and through and I can respect that. Very good piece of work.
