Thanks for going back and reading this poem. I appreciate your insights. Yes, spring here is unpredictable. I remember as a child we used to wonder about the Month of May. We had a little jingle we said:
Spring has sprung, the grass has ris'
I wonder what that white stuff is?
Of course it was snow.

We are in Australia and spring is like only a couple of degrees cooler than summer

That sounds wonderful. This week alone the high and low have varied by over 20 degrees Fahrenheit

What a beautiful picture. This sight was always my favorite when I lived in the north country. The word 'frosted' makes me think of a cake. Alliteration with sprouts and Spring.

The spring is iffy here in the west as well. One day the high is sixty and the next it's in the thirties again. Yesterday we had a few snow flakes mixed in with the spring showers. I guess we will take what we can get.
