Thank you for writing this poem! It is important to that people know the power of Jesus and how he can change the lives of people for the better. It is very well written, and I didn't see any errors.

Thank you for the excellent review and your wonderful response to this poem. I wanted to articulate a personal experience with Christ, in a contemporary setting that I hoped would make it more relevant for people living today and show that Jesus is here and now. estory

This is an excellently written Free Verse poem. It's not too long at all! Just right with beautifully described details of what life will be like at the day of His second coming. You project such thought provoking scenarios in this! Thank you for sharing! xoxo

Thanks so much for the excellent review and your wonderful words in support of the poem. I am glad that you enjoyed this personal articulation of the power of Jesus in this contemporary setting. I think many people think of Jesus in the world of 2,000 years ago, but He is with us now. That's my message. estory

Yes He is! Excellent poem!

I enjoyed this free verse account of the second coming. It's vivid words bring redemption to life in a contemporary setting. The final stanza is my personal favourite, but the entire write is exceptional both in concept and execution.
One suggestion is only to capitalize the beginning of lines when grammar dictates. Otherwise it becomes a distraction in free verse.

Thanks again for the six star review and all the continuing support of my work. Glad you enjoyed it. I think the second to last stanza is my favorite, and I contemplated taking out the last stanza to cut the length, but in the end, I thought it was important to include the children. They also are a metaphor of us being children of God. estory

I'm glad you kept the children. I don't recall the exact quote, but didn't Jesus say unless you become like these children you won't enter the Kingdom?
A fine piece of work, Estory.

When Jesus walks from your poem feels like Spring, because everything goes back to life; I think this might be the reason why Easter is in Spring. Thank you for sharing and good luck with your writings.

Thanks for the excellent review and your interesting perspective on the poem. I wanted that spring like, uplifting effect. Is Easter in spring, or spring in Easter? This poem actually was inspired to a degree by a poem of Pasternak's he included in Dr. Zhivago; Holy Week. I wonder if you know that poem. My favorite of Pasternak's. estory

I have to revisit the book; I read it when I was a student many years ago when I was taking Russian literature for one of my classes.

A very well-written Easter story and the wonders Jesus can create simply by walking beside us when we invite Him into our lives all our troubles will become something if the past.

Great job with this early Easter story that is a relevant reminder that even today the Lord is still alive, still reigns, still heals, stills works in the lives of lost souls, and we can look forward to his coming again soon. Thanks for Sharing.

I love the last two lines the most.
But, overall, I love this entire poem.
Repeating the words 'where Jesus walks'
is genius, and the attraction, and the summation,
as He walks everywhere, and invites
us on the journey.
Never too early for Easter!!
Blessings...

"Waltzing around in the street,
Free from her Alzheimer's"
That would be a dream come true for someone who had walked this!
I loved the theme of each of your stanzas... but the first was the best.

Thanks for the excellent review and your perspective on the poem. That line about Alzheimer's I put in for my mom, who passed from the disease in Nov 2015. After she died, I had a vision of her freed from her constraints, dancing like she used to when she was young. I wanted people to feel the power of the resurrection in personal terms there. estory
