Justin,

God is always faithful and true, even when our own silly thoughts attack us! haha I have dealt with so many mental disorders and issues, myself so I get it. So long as we both know where our true strength comes from, we'll be fine. *smile*

"God is our strength and refuge, an ever-present help in times of trouble." (from memory - may not be exactly right.)

Thanks, sweetie!

Well, I guess we've all had moments like these. Hm, well according to some extremely religious people I know every little thing is a sin so burning in hell is very plausible for them. Well, that's a good message to send to the world.

Thank you for sharing this encouragement from Scripture. As I read your poem, Romans 8 came to mind that nothing can separate us from the Love of God. And I like you ended with "Rejoice and see that God has made you free. Find your joy in your Lord's salvation." It's giving Him praise and rejoicing in Him which is the perfect way to battle anxiety.

Yes, Christians do go through periods of anxiety, in some cases due to past sins God had already forgiven them for. Anxiety creates a sort of paralysis! As your uplifting poem says, we must remember He's not going anywhere.

Aaaah, the bad days! Thats what your poem talk about loud and clear! When a person is down on both morale and faith, feeling sorry for themselves and wondering if any good will ever come there way again!?
Loved your take on it...the poem itself is well written, good topic you chose and portrayed it quite nicely too!
Have a good day!

This is so refreshing to read, dear Justin. Sometimes we judge ourselves by ourselves, and that is not grace. "For we are saved by grace through faith in Christ."
Sending you my best today as always,
Sally xo
