This cute poem is fit for day's latest disaster.
People do not really see the big picture yet. Supplies are running out and the simple things like t-paper will become precious. When will it end?

Hi thaites Thanks for your review I dont think this virus eats holes in your lungs we have listened to people who have recovered from the corona virus and they had no symptoms except testing positive for it and they are both well and feel good I think all this hysteria is stupid and there are so many unfounded rumours going around it makes me angry
Panic buying makes no sense toilet paper really its is not diarrhoea yes when will it end indeed I am going to Bali in May and Japan in November however Enjoy you day Many good cheers Christine

Take a look at this site. https://thechamomile.com/what-coronavirus-does-to-the-human-body/
"many survivors of SARS had scars in the lungs that look like ?bee honeycomb?, and this has been observed also in those with coronavirus. At this stage, patients breathe with the help of a breathing apparatus."
I live in Thailand and the majority of Thais stay home. No one wants to be in a crowd. You stay safe now.

You've displayed here one of my favourite Aussie traits, the ability to find humour in every subject.
Your meter and rhyme flowed delightfully while your sense of irreverence shone brightly. I thought your poem was most appropriate in the circumstances and probably worthy of a six.

Hi Christine. Any poem about toilet paper is funny. I chuckled as I read. The Corona virus is not funny but toilet paper shopping is. Seeing people standing in check out lanes with 24 packs of TP is a image that brings a smile. Well written.

This is funny and witty but all too real at the moment. In Canada where I live we stock up because of winter storms anyways, so it is not so noticeable here yet. We need a good laugh in spite of the news. All the best, Laura.

Hi Laura Thanks for your review and I found the whole scenario really stupid but I had no choice I only wanted a small pack but no only big ones left It is a real joke here Yes Corona is not funny but it is way out of proportion to panic stations Stay warm Cheers Christine

Hahaha.... It is amazing the intergalactic panics that can set in when people allow common sense to flitter away.
Enjoyed.
I was at the store today, there were paper products, but the bottled waters were getting very scarce. Which was funny- there were seven pallets of it displayed at the front of the store?

Your poem made me laugh as my husband came home from the drug store with the same story.
Great rhyme and meter and fun images.
I hope the panic doesn't continue to grow. I think the media is feeding the hysteria.

That's hilarious (looking at it from the outside at least). In the US it hasn't gotten to that point yet, at least not where I live, but it may well be coming.

Thanks for adding humor to your poem, Christine! Loved all the internal and end rhymes, too. I'm surprised that you have such a panic there. It was crowded in our store yesterday and all the disinfectants were gone. Sigh. But we have had 9 deaths in our state. Is there an outbreak there?

Hi Helen Thanks so much I think we are up to around 40 cases known with 2 deaths so far ( one was a man on the Diamond Princess the ship quarantined for some time he was then transfered to Darwin but got sick and died sad story
panic buying is rife here in Australia totally unjustified
Anyway stay well Cheers Chris I am going to Bali in May can?t wait
Cheers Chris

I don't understand why people are so scared, I remember after 7/11 hardly anyone was on the flight to Kuala Lumpur, everybody had cancelled. It was the least likely of any plane in the world to be under terrorist attack. The same thing happened here as there Christine. But watch out you don't put your finger through that 'one sheet' heh heh, a great little poem dear girl, (I can remember little squares of newspaper hanging up) well done, blessings Roy
