Yes, the snow will be melting and watering the thirsty soil to bring on the roses and their blooms. I like ... slender in repose
The entire presentation is lovely.

A lovely haiku Amada. The picture is perfect for this well written piece.
The first two lines are grammatically connected beautifully and the satori line is delightful.

Thank you for reading my work and your awesome comments.

In my opinion, a lovely poem, though succinct, it easily captures the beauty of the scene in tentative optimism, an easy view of an anticipated future - fully compliant with the prompt. Best wishes in the contest...

Amazingly beautiful! The snow caked on the rose isn't something you see every day. It reminds me of a children's fairy tale. I believe it was Snow White who went into a coma and the dwarves covered her snow-covered body with red roses? Anyway, that's the picture that comes to mind for me.

It is so that we can say so much with a few words and a descriptive picture. The beauty of some of the winter scenes and the job that is being done quite often escapes us. But here you have presented a huge message.

Comment from Gloria ....
I always find roses in snow a pleasing image, particularly because it happens so rarely.
This is a fine entry into the contest Amada and I wish you great luck with the committee. :)
