-Very nice image.
-Your note is appreciated.
-The imagery is very good,
and you tell a good story
about this woman who was
special to you.
-My favorite image is
"she embroiders a trail
of roses and birds on sundried cloth."
-A good conclusion, too.
-Good luck in the contest.

You are quite welcome. I took that out of the review. Do you use a computer or a device of some kind? Sometimes those do weird things.

What a wonderfully written tribute to the lady who lived in a shoe. The picture is amazing.

Good luck in the contest!
Have a great day and God bless.

Well, my lady did not live in a shoe, but in a wooden cabin on the hill. Completely self sufficient. She preferred living on her own, she said, without interferring anybody in her way of life. A great old woman, who became a good friend.

A very well-written fantasy poem about the old lady whose daughter die of the flue and she has no one else to forward her heirlooms to and she chose you to pass it on to your daughter when she marries.

Sandra, thank you for reading. I wish you would have known her, she was such a special and dear old woman! She lived alone on the hill, completely self-supporting and content. I brought her sacks of flour sometimes, because she even baked her own bread!

This is an effective story within a poem. The scene is well described as is the character of the strange old woman. The image is a fitting complement for the poem.
