Good luck in the contest with this interesting short poem, Melissa. As they say, even a broken clock is right twice a day. A colorful and interesting image to accompany your entry. Marilyn

What an interesting and imaginative poem! I never thought of clocks that way. I have often thought of trees that way. This is a great 3 Line Poetry contest entry. You have also used the perfect image. Best of luck in the contest.

Interesting picture of the clocks, with all the different times on them. I bought my husband a clock in the shape of a ship. I love it but don't think he does! Great point in this--time too shall pass. Excellent alliteration with troublesome times. Interesting observation, and best of luck in the contest. judi

I really like the irony written in this excellent entry in this three line poetry contest. I love this sort of entry because it magnifies the time passing, nothing more emphatically symbolic as these clocks, well done Melissa, good luck, blessings Roy

Great little thoughtful poem! I like your picture and putting time into perspective. You finish with the comforting adage that even this tumultuous time will pass. Best wishes in the contest!

Great job with this poem about the passage of time and antique clocks. Of course we could be very near the end of this age. In which case, time as we know it ends. Bill

Hi Bill... yes, the Lord says there is an end and it sure seems the Biblical signs are staring us in the face. But, if not now, I am sure he wants us to calmly observe and stand sure in Him. Thanks for your review.

I enjoyed your whimsical artwork and philosophical write. Or maybe the other way around since the clocks are calm observers.

Best of luck in the contest, Melissa.

Blessings Julia

Well, we may pass on into eternity with our troubles, but they will be long forgotten in the light of Christ's presence. He promises to wipe every tear from our eyes. I love this photo. I'm the cherry red clock in the middle. :)

A sure winner for the three line contest, dear Melissa.
Sending you my best today as always.
Sal xoxo

I'm sure those clocks have seen plenty of historical upheaving. in their day. Probably would have quite a few stories to tell. How everyone thought it was the end, but the world kept on going somehow. Very nicely done, a great thing to remember in these trying times.

Hi Misty. I agree that as we go through trouble, we must remember this is not the first time, not the last that we must handle it... time keeps passing... and hopefully, things will get better. Thank you.
