This is a beautiful etheree/reverse etheree combination with a lot of heart. Having a Soul Friend is a wonderful gift, especially for having someone who shares your feelings about our loving God.

These etheree poems were in constant use sometime ago, but one doesn't see them so much, although the nonet has made a real comeback, a beautifully written etheree Jim. There's nothing like a real friend, I've got the best in my wife, well done, Blessings Roy

What a beautiful, felt Soul Friend you are and how solely your whispering words come deeply from your inner soul for such a dear friend of yours. I have never tried such poetical technique but maybe one I will. Great work and I did like it!

Your poem tells the story of a true friend for one who desperately needs a shoulder to cry on or just to be there with him/her in their time of need. Your formatting works well. I like how the lines grow then reduce as per the style. It is like the ebb and flow of life. Thanks for sharing. Respectfully, Jan

This is a double ethiree, one reverse. A deeply felt tribute that causes one's eyes to moisten.Most of us have someone like that.in the second ten syllable line,is the word 'salve' two syllabled?
whatever be the syllable count ,it was a pleasure to read this heart felt out pouring.
