I love the picture you have picked to go with this piece. It is the ideal image, it is what my mind would have seen if it were only just the words.

In the Bible dew is associated with bounty and divine blessing. Dew is refreshing and a gift. It can be a word from heaven and a source of life. There are many messages in your six words. A good writing.

Dew drops and raindrops fascinate me.
I love watching them run down leaves .. often they move slowly then suddenly pick up speed to halt on the end tip.
With a special camera you can take beautiful photos in which one can see reflected the surroundings in each single raindrop .. it's an awesome effect.

You're right, it is difficult to convey an entire thought or picture in just a few words. *smile* But you've pulled it off here. Kudos~
My only thought is that 'dewdrops' and 'drip' contain the same root word. You might consider changing the 'drip' to slide, drift, etc. But that's just a thought. Yours to toss, if you like. ha

Many times I'm tried to capture that image on camera - of a dew drop - or a rain drop on a rose or leaf. It's something special. Nice poem. I enjoyed the image it gave me.
