It is nice to have some level of success... recognition. I have been writing for many years, but never really chased publication. It takes dedication, perseverance. I usually just write for fun. I've been included in 3 books, but no books of my own. That's good enough for me. I was tickled when Nimbus Publishing asked me (in 2017) for permission to have two of my poem included in Sheree Fitch's book, "Whispers of Mermaids & Wonderful Things". So I do know the excitement you feel. It's awesome.

Thank you so much for the wonderful review and kindest compliments, dear KimBob. I had originally started this novella as a three-part short story and it blossomed into a epic novella. I could've kept going, but finally had to give it up and move onto the second book. I found the more I added, the more it came alive. I also added flashbacks to World War II which seem to make the book even more interesting with depth of character. I think for the most part that was the most challenging part of the book for me. I also have an autopsy detailed in the book. It took me several days to write just the one section. I learned so much and thoroughly enjoyed myself in the process. I've really grown as a writer because of it and have more confidence. I've only been writing for a blink in time.
Your review, stars, and kind words mean so much to me and encourage me to write even more. Thank you, again. :))
