This person is compared to the Mona Lisa. She must feel very lucky. Excellent work! No grammatical errors. I have enjoyed reading it. Thanks for sharing!

Amusing anecdote about married life, and one man's strategy on how to survive his wife's bad moods -- narrated from the wife's perspective! Apparently there is sometimes a subtext to our spoken responses and facial expressions that we ourselves do not realize, but that those closest to us know all too well! Very well written.

Mona Lisa mon amour

Hello, Iza Deleanu,

Your poem/story cracked me up. I know exactly what you mean. I think all women have that mona lisa smile. Poor husbands.... lol Well done my friend. I like the presentation too.

Told with wit and sarcasm this is a great narrative of married life and the ways husbands and wives use body language to send messages about creating and maintaining their space in the relationship and articulating their frustrations with each other. Yes, that smile can mean many different things. estory

Unfortunately we seems to lose our self once we stepped in the wholly matrimony and everything becomes a battle for power

Your look of suspicion and critique is obviously a sarcastic smile! The cynicism enters the marriage after honeymoon period and finds itself at a crossroads and the path it takes from then on can go two different ways, either uphill or downhill, I enjoyed your words here and hope your Mona Lisa smile has at least some positivity, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

yeah, I'm thinking there's not a whole lotta hope for these two if they don't open up to each other and clear the air.... certainly an interesting 'poetry' offering as it seems a lot better suited for a prose offering...??? Thanx for sharing! ;)
