I'd like to think that there was some point in time where your poem was reality. Yes, the meek shall inherit the earth But will they? I appreciate your most positive attitude and I wish I had it. This is a very uplifting poem. Best wishes.

This is an impressive poem, with rich images crammed into a challenging format. So far this winter, the lamb seems to have tamed the lion--perhaps they were inspired by the sentiments of this fine poem!

Hello Author... I liked this Even the Odds poem for the In like a Lion and Out like a Lamb contest. I do have a question about hopping lambs, but it's a poem so I'm going to go with the flow. :)

Susan yes the poetic requirement was to match the first and last n synonym which made it read a bit funky.

I really enjoyed this poem. You kept to the syllable count perfectly, and I think it flows nicely. The only thing, and maybe it's just me but as I read through it several times, I kept wanting to say leap at the end instead of the word hop. Regardless, it works - great job!

I've heard this saying many times. I think that in my part of the country, it seems to ring true. We've had mild winters, then, before it's gone, a blast of bad weather before the calm. Thanks for sharing this well written work. Well done!
