As read your poem, I thought it must have been fun writing it and properly placing all those 'A' words in meaningful context. I enjoyed it very much, as I do all your poetry. Your poetic ABILITY is AMAZING and APPRECIATED.

Susan I am profoundly grateful for you positive validation with my poetic efforts.

Your words are so very true. In simple words, "take the time to touch the morning." Life is too short to let mechanical living take over. Especially the computer and the cell phone! We miss so much with blinders on.

Nicely done alliterative free verse with so many "a" words and it is also a philosophical one. I especially liked: "Take a break from the grist mill of life."

Marvelous! So clever to combined all of your "a" words into a concluding verse! Well done! The wisdom implied through the poem is superb and all should heed the words! Great offering for our free verse club! xoxo

I think this verse is nicely done. You've made excellent work of your 5 'A' words.
You've met the Free Verse challenge very well.
The matching artwork is amazing.

Good job!! I find anything that I have to work that hard at doesn't appeal to me in the least. LOL But you seem to do it just fine! Good job!! Good luck with the contest!

Comment from Sally Law
One of my favorite things to do is put,ah pretend with my granddaughter. It seems to shake the angst out of me and slap some artistic expression into me.
Sending you my best today as always, and my best for the challenge.

Very well done! Not only did you meet the challenge by fulfilling the requirements, but the poem made sense and offered great advice. I really enjoyed the read.

To live in the moment certainly slows the clock down as we consider every detail and enjoy the peace and tranquility, and this is the only way to achieve fulfilment, food for thought here, love Dolly x

Good job on this one, Jim. As usual you are very original and profound in your works. I liked these lines in particular:
"Be aware of life's dares that can easily
destroy the possibilities to simply feel joy."
