Your word choices have led to a wonderful instructional poem on how to achieve inner peace in the present moment. I like how you have repeated your chosen words in the last stanza to achieve a succinct summary.

This is a terrific response to the Free Verse Club Challenge, J. I am particularly fond of the first stanza in how you deftly worked in the rhymes be and assonance breathe. Brilliant.
The entire piece have an overall serene tone which is a much needed quality in this noisy world.
Great job and a fine addition to the club.

This is a beautiful poem. You have used "A" words that seamlessly fit into the gist of the poem. I especially liked "the grist mill of life" and "avoid the clatter of noise, toys". Also, your use of all five words in the final stanza is creative.

I enjoyed your poem using the letter A. It is true that a truly "quiet place" is so difficult to acquire because it not only requires the silence of sound from without but the peace of the heart within to find it.

Hello, JLR,
'A Quiet Place' is a fine free verse poem using the letter A. I agree with you. To be aware and stay in the moment is the best way to stay center and not worry about things we can't control. Well done, my friend,
Gypsy

This is an interesting way to write a poem. The poem tells the way to find the inner peace we all wish for and need. It is necessary to stop and get out of the fast lane just to find ourselves. Well thought out and written.

AAAAAA-plus with the AAAAAAlliteration! AAAAAAAh, how well you recommend mindfulness. I like the mindless games and silly things that distract. Meaning, I like them as used in the poem (And Alas As in many mindless hours so indulging). Cheers. LIZ

Comment from Raffaelina Lowcock
Your five words are very flexible in that they depict so much. The being in the moment and finding inner peace declarations are glorious.
"So, the art begins being aware
and thus to avoid the angst of failing
to find the ardor within a quiet space."
Using them all in the last stanza and making sense, is genius.
