This is a beautiful offering!

I love sunsets but there is something very unique as dawn approaches .

I love the silence from our chaotic world ( cars, people talking , their footsteps )....

..you get to hear the sweet melody of the sparrows ..the freshness of the air tickles your nostrils .. spiders are still sitting in the centre of their webs.. the grass is moist and has a scent ...

...when I had pets I would enjoy our morning walk, watching the sun rise on the steps of our church which looks down on our town...

the first rays make the dew drops sparkle like tiny diamonds .

It's sad to think there are so many people that have never seen how beautiful Mother Nature is .

I feel sick giving this a five. Please accept my five with compliments, dear Melissa. It will most likely put you in for All Time Best. How lovely this is, in both Sonnet and setting. Delicious.
I wish to be there! Sending you my best today as always,
Sally xoxo

This is a lovely poem. I like it all and the illustration is gorgeous. These are the lines that resonate most with me, although all are excellent:
My garden's charm envelops me,
a peaceful, warm complacency,
sweet inspiration comes anew,
with sips from drops of morning dew.

There is something almost magical about your words here, Melissa -- perhaps it's the morning dew...always a special time for us early risers or perhaps its just the gentle phrases you've penned to describe your vision, but this one just sings to the reader in a soft piano melody.... WONDERFUL!! :) Thanx for sharing, my lady - your rhythm and rhyme is flawless as always! ;) Yvette

Awe, Melissa, this is a lovely poem about spring being in full bloom. I loved the picture to go with it, which made it all come vividly alive. Your poem is beautifully written. Well done. Ulla:)))

I'm walking in the garden with you, revelling in the soft and peaceful pink, refreshed by those drops of morning dew. Such picturesque pairings painted with your words. Simply lovely.

I'm not, not quite yet. I'm a New England gal. I just love it when it comes.

A very well-written Kyrielle sonnet about the morning dew we can sip from when the eastern sky is tinted pink, the humble bees and butterflies flying through the flower garden to find the freshest dew.

Whoa, that's a nice looking garden, Melissa. With the morning sun shining just right. Your poem is enchanting as you progress through each motion of the morning and accentuate that snapshot with the sips from drops of morning dew.

Elegant iambic metre and excellent rhymes.

I'll never tire of wonderful garden poems. :)

Hi Melissa,
I saved this sixth star just for you. What a great poem! Love the form. The repetition is very effective. Beautiful job with this one. Reminds me of Brooke's writing.
Thanks for sharing!
