My children, like yours, have always been my heart, but that's expanded to my grandchildren, and they all seem to be ontrack. All seem to excell at something, but I don't care how successful they are in their private endeavours, I've always wanted one thing for them, that they be at peace and happy, using their gifts in service. Well done, patriarchy carries a leadership with it. Well done Doug, a wise post. Blessings Roy

Smiling. Thank you, Roy. I meant this one, just like you actually mean what you write as well. I texted it to her last night. I think it got through. Lol

Well done

This is so earthly and spiritual at the same time. Your thoughts are so right on as your children leave home to college or to anywhere in the world. Very well done.
Thanks for sharing.

You are a wonderful parent. Of course we need to give advice, infinite wisdom and of course unconditional love. I'm finding it hard to let go of two of my daughters because they both have anxiety disorder...it's really hard. Thanks for sharing your viewpoints with us.

Oh my, anxiety disorder. Difficult. My brother oft dealt with this. Which means, everyone dealt with this. You know far better than me what to do. Give unconditional support. I am proud of you. Doug

Ah, this lovely write rings so true. It's been a long time since my nest was emptied but any parent could share these words of wisdom with their nestling to advantage. Thanks for sharing.

Hello victortouche
Your well written letter for your daughter. I see you are encouraging her to use the gifts that God has given her and have confidence to achieve what she desires to do in life.

A thoughtful and encouraging gift to your daughter. We do pass the torch and pray that they will find their way with what we, and God, have given them. Mine are grown and now I watch the grandchildren find their way and their parents now have a sense of what we had to offer them..
well done.
Blessings

Ha ha. Oh such sweet comeuppance, eh? LOL Grandchildren could be the greatest gift. I have yet to see. Doug

I read somewhere that - if I had know that Grandchildren would be so much fun, I would have had them first. I agree. :))))

I thought this was a great uplifting and motivating work; If this is the counsel you have given your daughter then - she will do well if she keeps it. All will be open to her, like the image you chose looking out to infinity.

Your artwork selection beckons us into your poem. Thank you for sharing your heartfelt advice to your daughter. I have tried to pass on limited advice to my son over the years, hoping that being a good role model was adequate. Yes, being supportive pays dividends. Smiles- Joan
