Whoa lot going on there, the next chapter's going to be a gory one. I might suggest losing the quotation marks, you don't need them just because you are narrating in the first person, just for spoken dialogue.

It?s not my personal thoughts on style and grammar, it?s the rules of grammar, and it would really help if you lost the quotation marks.

Doc Ricky, I didn't realize that you had a very hard childhood. And you no longer seem like the kind of person who would want to hurt any small animals. You must have been a very angry young man, at one time!
Was Jamie the cat really nasty? But more importantly, I'm so sorry that you were "abused and refused." That's terrible and sad.
I've actually been to Pittman. It's in the Gloucester area, had a boyfriend there once, and I am much better off without him.
You must have been disappointed when Mr. Jones promised employment to you and Charlie and then just disappeared on you!

    The cat episode is fictional.
    The birds fictional.
    Everything else is true.
My mother should never have had children.
And yes I was very curious young child I did burn in sex not a lot I did shoot a rabbit I did try to shoot a pheasant.
That second chapters going to be mainly all completely fictional.
    Thanks,
    Ricky

Hey Doc Ricky. I am so relieved to know that more than half of your "confessions" there were fictional (especially the cat story). I'm not sure what you meant by "burn in sex" but if you mean ordinary teenage desires, I think most of us go through that! (I wish I had more of that libido now, lol.) Sorry about the bird and the rabbit, but I know that a lot of young guys go hunting. You didn't know that the rabbit would run off, wounded. Maybe he or she survived, and continued to do more of what rabbits do! I don't agree that your mother shouldn't have had children, because you have a lot of good things to say and a lot of life left in you!

Of course you're Charlie! And I'm honored to be your FanStory best friend. If we ever run into any problems, I'll send you a message, and you can send your kick-@$$ chicks over here to help us. I'll have to put a blindfold on Jorge first -- only kidding -- he only has eyes for me! Yes, I'm blessed. God bless you too, Ricky. - Mary Kay
