Yet I hear they can run like the wind - and they're BIG. Would not want to get in their way. Awhile back several fanstory folk were writing about the white rhino. that was interesting also. Not sure rhinos appeal to me - but they are an interesting creature that God created. each has their place in the world.

Gail, I read somewhere rhino in full charge can hit 31 - 32 mph that is scary fast!

to protect it from mankind.

Sadly, the rhino is being pushed to extinction.

The rhino is a unique animal. I like the description of legs like trunks of trees and two inch thick skin. This is a great poem for the nonet contest. Best of luck.
