This is so beautiful and elegant in presentation. Daffodils won't show up until mid-April here unfortunately. They are a refreshing sign that warmer days are ahead! Good luck in your contest. xoxo

You have made good use of alliteration in your eight word poem ... fragrant farewell and delightful daffodil. The personification of the daffodil kissing is especially poetic. The poem certainly gave me a sense of the coming of spring. Well done.

At the start of winter we do indeed say good-bye to a lot of wonderful and beautiful things. We feel as if they are going away forever, but in truth they are resting so they can again shine bright when their time comes.

That's such a nice choice of topic. :) I love daffodils so this poem works perfectly for me. Also, I love your perfect choice of vocabulary and imagery. All in all, I really enjoyed reading this poem.

This is a nice entry for the eight words contest. The presentation is very pretty. Your words flow nicely. You managed to form a concrete picture in a few words. Good job.

Oh those lovely daffodils. How beautiful they are in their simplicity. How simple they are in their beauty. How very much like this poem they are. This poem in simply beautiful.

A very well-written heartfelt eight-word poem about the yellow daffodils that predict the winter months will retreat and Spring will take his place soon. The winter can become very boring at the end.

It always amazes me how hardy these delicate blooms are when they flower among the ice and snow and it is almost as if they are yellow flags of surrender to change the season to spring, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

Something about delightful daffodil kisses and the yellow of the flower and background that just seems the perfect, fragrant farewell to winter and the snow that fades away behind it. Everything just comes together beautifully. Well done.
