Ciao mystery poet . Your poem appealed to me ..I gave you your second vote.
Before July 2018 just filling in a postcard was hard for me .. never was any good at words let alone writing down my thoughts .
I have learnt a lot in these 19 months. I always try to find usual subjects to capture the readers' interest.
Fortunately, at times I am successful in my intent.

A very good topic for the contest this evening - always good to appeal to your audience! ;) :) I would suggest, however, that your use of 'writing' and 'write' consecutively inhibits a smooth flow to your words and message... :) Thanx for sharing and best of luck in the contest! ;)

This passion poem started off with what I myself have a passion for. Writing about practically all subjects, under all circumstances. But then the third line? It probably just me, but this line seems to belong to another poem. It is true that most fervent writers also are avid readers (I myself can't sleep if I did not read first for at least an hour). I can't make the connection though with the first two lines.
Still, it is a 5-7-5 and it IS about passion, no doubt.
