Don't believe that we should give up. But pray, pray all day long - for our country, our President - for the poor folks in China where there is complete misery - even in big cities, people cannot go out of their homes - or speak anything against the state. It's pretty horrible.
Good job with this poem to make us think.

A very well-written twenty word poem about the state of the world that seems to be a great mess with dangerous viruses and illnesses that can wipe out mankind for ages.

-Nice image and
presentation, aryr.
-You have used your
twenty words well.
-A time topic and
good imagery.
-Your note is appreciated,
but I am wondering if
that is your opinion,
maybe the poem should
reflect that. Your notes
are profound and would
make really good statements.
-Just ideas; good luck in the contest.

Alie I understand your thoughts and it's a good entry but you have too many syllables. About 23 I think. Use world's and ommit so. The other "Such"? :) Thanks for sharing.

Thank you Jose for reading, reviewing and your great comments. I don't think it was a syllable count but rather a word count of 20.

My bad Alie. Using a phone making mistakes. :) Take care.

"Personal Thoughts", is short, succinct and very much to the point. With a minimum of words, this talented poet has told it as it is. I look forward to seeing your next post.

Give: the quality or state of being resilient; springiness.
Yes, let's give a little give to the word "give" and be resilient and spring UP in the midst of all that's screwed up. Rey thought provoking twenty words.

Alie,
Oh, wow. Having a bit of an off day, eh? Sometimes I think many of us can look at the world news and take this stance. *smile*
But then we must shake our heads and minds and bodies and get rid of that funk (or not watch the news in the first place) and get back to the business of living. haha
I note that your word count is just right, btw -
Thanks and good luck! (Good to see you!)
