What a powerful (and true) poem. The verses at the end also added to the message of the poem.
The image of walking through the fiery trial, of being victorious in Christ, paired beautifully with the image of being humbled before the will of God. Good imagery and bold message!

What got me clean and sober was and to become a true believer in Jesus Christ and Doer of His Will was during my stroke on meth and whiskey I cried out to Jesus and He saved me. I know exactly how it feels to not be able to use my arm because I lost use of my left arm for three weeks from my stroke and I also lost a huge patch of hair but I regained full use of my left arm and all my hair grew back and now as of tomorrow I'll have a year clean and sober By The Grace of God! All Glory and Praise Goes to God and God alone! I will be praying for you! Don't ever lose hope!

I'm glad to that you are now clean and sober! I too had an alcohol problem which caused me to lose my family, a home and a career, so I understand what you went through. I've been sober for over two years now. I need to be a little stronger in my faith, but I do realize that's the only way I will beat my addiction. I'm getting there.

I so agree that God puts us through many trails and tribulations in our life. He does it for several reasons that many of us don't understand at the time. But we do come out stronger than before.
