Brilliant, poignant, and educational. Amazing writing from the perspective of Susan, Nick, and finally Cindy. It was so realistic, sad and I would say joyful in that Cindy while dealing with an illness is loved. This deserves a six-star. Okay, my own rating gives you a 10-star.

THANKSSSSSS! This was inspired by a hypothetical scenario that would have ensued in both my marriages had I been carrying a "defective" child. I'd have kicked the dicks out if they hadn't already left! Cheers. LIZ

Amazing. The best piece of writing I have read of yours. Moving, powerful, realistic, gutwrenching, and beautiful. Bravo! Have you published this on Medium? So well done. Beautiful cutting from person to person and getting at the essence of the various points of view quickly and effortlessly. Great job.

Brilliant. How masterfully you presented the three points of view! How incredibly pertinent this is to these times we are living in! Without taking sides you deftly showed the arguments pro and con... Most importantly you gave us Cindy! Wonderful child! As an RN I saw how "sterile" they made presentations... They were never "aborting"--they were " extracting the tissue."

Cindy is that "tissue"--- And a darn site more than evolved than her father I hasten to add!

Wish I had more than six stars to give you.

Ah, you have my profound respect!

You did a great job, Liz, with a sensitive subject. Your words in all 3 parts were well chosen and filled with great imagery. The mother and child have a reasonable loving outlook on the life that came their way. The donor father seems to be an egotistical buffoon. Both mother and child are better without him, though he is monetarily responsible as he stated.
Respectfully, Jan

This is very well done, Liz. You've shown all sides of this very controversial issue, and, in this case, I have to agree with the mother. I think it's harder for a father to bond with any child before it's born. And there are stories of many Downs Syndrome children who grow up to have happy, healthy lives.

You?re welcome, Liz. I can say that my first husband would have been on my side with this one, and I even volunteered for an anti-abortion help line for a while.

Excellent writing.
This was a hard one to read, but not because of the writing.
The pro-life issue should be thoroughly hashed out before, well anyway...
Best wishes.

This script in Three Acts speaks to dramatize the talk of the nation, flows the theme and plot thru realistic characters in three phases abortion if it is right or wrong and the war about abortion and moral and last word about the issue; well said, well done; post more. ALCREATOR LITT DEAR (D R)

A well-presented and memorable play, beautifully told by Cindy. very poignant.
The characters' feelings were expressed realistically, as I've read of similar reactions in families with the same situation.
Good job and congratulations of being recognized.

Hello Liz.

This is something I know a little bit about through association. My wife taught Special education for 30 years until she retired. The vast majority of the kids in her classes were Down Syndrome or Autistic. I know dozens of these kids--adults. They ARE special.

Your writing was interesting from the perspective of a monologue from each character. The emotions were well expressed in the writing.

This is a little different in the style of writing, but it was interesting.

Robert

This is so poignant. Well done. You've captured three distinct voices, and all of their emotion as well as motivation. Not an easy job - especially with the subject matter.
