Once again, you have given us a wonderful story. I really enjoyed reading. Yes, things were a lot different back then. The young girls of today would be shocked.
What I said so glibly said was, "Oh, I don't know, maybe a shotgun wedding?" (too many 'said's)
"Give me the word and we'll cancel the whole thing. You shouldn't be marrying someone you feel that way about."I wasn't about to cancel it. It would be too embarrassing for everyone. (Space needed after the ending quotation mark.)

Thank you for the review, the comments and for again finding things that need fixing. I'm actually surprised to find some young people claim they can relate to this story. I wasn't expecting that.
