"The ladies all drool
Knowing you have the tool"
There is a sweetness cut with
a bite in this work, Elizabeth,
which makes it very human.
Lovely work.

Hello Elizabeth Emerald
My aren't you clever with your rhyming poem to lead to believe from what you were describing is totally different.

Both true and sensual! I can definitely relate with the content of your piece. I really enjoyed the part where you said "...heart". Another great read!

The wonderful twist at the end made me think of a song I once heard (Cutest Little Dinghy in the Navy by Ruth Wallis) in which the lyrics were very suggestive, but the song was perfectly clean. A wonderful poem.

"A dirty mind is a joy forever" (Anon)
I like the strong rhythm and rhyme. This is my kind of poetry. Pity about the fail on the last line. Ah well! I suppose it's for the best. Otherwise the Morality brigade (which does exist on this site) would be on your back. Whoops! I do hope that doesn't have a sexual connotation.

Reg

What a witty ditty you have written. I giggled the whole time. It was certainly different than any other Valentine that I read. The ladies all drool knowing you have the tool. LOL

I love this! It brings back memories of all the "dirty" songs we sang in the dorm back in the 60's. And what a throbbing image you picked to go with your poem. It's a fun read!

Elizabeth!!! I'm shocked!! (not really) I'm giggling! That's really funny... reminds me of a really old poem I knew as a kid.
Roses are green
As green as the grass
The little pink elephant
Fell on his _______

Now don't get excited
And don't turn pale
'Cuz the little pink elephant
Fell on his tail!

Childish, but adorable... but then again, I was a child too at the time! :)
You wrote such a fun poem, thanks for sharing :)
