I loved reading your happy retirement story. I have been retired for one and a half years and am enjoying every minute of it. While poetry comes more easily to me, I am well into a first novel, supported by a creative writing class. Best wishes to you in your ongoing creative endeavors and friendships.

You are very fortunate to have met a group of women writers in Florida you enjoy spending time with. I found it interesting to hear how they motivated you to try your hand at prose. This story, though entertaining, meanders. There is no clear direction. In other words, it's more of an essay than a story and lacks coherence. Still, I enjoyed it.
