I'm not an expert on poetry, and that includes the tanks format. However, I really had a hard time deciphering this one, but considering some of the other Redbirds, I'm assuming it is. Very good.

Very interesting style of poetry. every time I read, I wonder your power of expression in your unique style. As I understand wonder is defined as a feeling of amazement and admiration, caused by something remarkable, or unfamiliar. Thanks for sharing!

What, I ask myself, do I gain by bowing to the demands or criticism of others!?
There will always be naysayers...
Best we set our sights on pleasing God.

You are certainly right, we can't please everyone, and definitely no everyone at the same time. Soooo, as you say, since it's impossible, we should stop trying.

It's impossible to mount the steps of heaven, unless one qualifies to mount those steps, we can't do it by being "Good" we certainly can't do it without faith, that's the only currency acceptable by God. There's nothing else He wants. Beautifully written, blessings Roy
