I love the artwork you added. It caught my eye.
I really liked how you talked about the shield of faith. I never thought of it that way, but I can see how having His faith can be like a shield to keep you safe. Every day is a struggle for most even if it doesn't show. We have to take one day at a time. I know you are courageous. If you weren't, you wouldn't be writing about your story. Keep them coming. I'd love to hear more.

What an inspiring piece. You are describing something that every Christian I know experiences. Regardless of their stage in life. We're all on that learning curve -- that arc. SOME of us take a little longer to grasp things (cough-cough). (finger pointing at myself, obviously.)
Never think you are alone in this journey. We are all weak and imperfect -- If you were perfect... you'd be Christ. And that's not gonna happen, my sister. Love ya, but... nope.

There are some strong statements of affirmation in your journal entry, and I like how it shows that you are a strong person. Doubts are those nagging little things that chip away at us and make it hard to trust, but realizing that is half the battle. You go, girl!

This is another very well written chapter you have penned. Sometimes we fret and worry needlessly because the battle is the Lords. The devil always wants to make us worry, but we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. Keep on repeating the scripture, "Let not your heart be troubled......" All of God's word and promises are so true. It's just asking the Lord to keep it in your spirit. Ask the Holy Spirit for His help. He will help you. I am living proof of that!
