June, This is a very beautiful and very well written poem you have penned about the little boy and his friend, the little lamb. You used great descriptive words and such adorable imagery from the picture of a little boy and lamb. Thanks for sharing. I enjoyed reading and reviewing this. love and blessings, Teri

I?m happy you could relate to this piece. Young children are very much in tuned to animals and pets. It?s innocence at its best. Thanks for reading.

What a wonderful vision in Dolly's tetravalent, Joan -- maybe it's because I'm a mom of little boys, this one really touches me. You know, it is the mom's out there that know just how tender the heart is inside of her boys and now young men... the world sees their 'tough' but mom knows their heart! :) Thanx so much for this beautiful interlude for the evening! :) Yvette :)

A very well-written Tetravalent Poem about a boy who don't want a toy but only a little lamb to be his friend for life. A bond between human and animal is always amazing.

Jerry had a little lamb, Their bond is obvious they will love and care one for the other through time. well done as a poem do you ever expand to prose. this would make a good flash story.

Oh my goodness June! You touched my heart strings here with this loving write and I wish I had a six for you. This is so warm and embracing and you did the Tetravalent justice, (just one rhyme missed on the second syllable of the couplet to rhyme with (toy). This is magical and much enjoyed, love Dolly x

This is just perfect, June. Excellent iambic metre all the rhymes and cross rhymes written in where they should be and without skipping a beat.
Excellent tetravalent and I'm sure Dolly will love it. :))

Beautifully written, June! Perfect rhythm and rhyming structure. And such a touching piece! Nothing like a child and their pet to show what genuine love is all about!

What a wonderful poem for this lovely
form.
The picture is such a good match too.
Boys share such a friendship with
their pets, it's quite enviable.
Loved this,

You're welcome, Happy Tuesday!!

I am glad you were inspired by Dolly's new form with its complex rhyme scheme to create a Tetravalent poem of your own. You captured a special friendship and your use of alliteration intensified the mood. Cheers- Joan
