Hello Yvette. I sense the indignities in the first stanza being stated by this little froufrou dog. Are you being partial to this little doggie because she is blonde?
In the poem, I think she was talking about me. It reminded me of me when I read this line: No knowledge of couture! I also have no knowledge of couture.
Good luck in the contest.

You? No knowledge of couture? Are you also speaking for Ralphie there...? :) :) Either way, the Lady Yorkie thanks you for your lovely comments, Z! (wink, wink!) Have a great week! Yvette

another 6, another winner. Heavens to Mergatroid!
You just keep on keepin' on. I don't think you have any papers to grade. I dont see how you could have time. however,
That is really cute and clever and a great entry.
And what a precious picture.

This is such a cute use of the three words required for the contest- they slip seamlessly into the stanzas and what delightful sentiments emerge thereafter - a winner it has to be !

This is such a nice read, and the dog has the face of a person looking back at me. This is written very well and is very entertaining. The dog is adorable. Your wording is great. Good luck in the contest!

I think this is a good entry for the 3 Words in a Poem writing prompt.
This cute verse is being told by a Yorkshire Terrier.
Well done and I wish you good luck with the contest.

Excellent and well describes some breeds of dog. Ours little mutt is a purebred Havanese - very personal - needs us with him. Has US on a schedule. They rule.

Wow - I love this fun read for this contest. I can see the prissy miss in the photo speaking these words :) You've penned a lyrical, smooth flowing poem with this entry. I would never have guessed the required words. Good luck in the contest.

Awe!! So cute! How fun this poem is! What an awesome idea for this contest! I had a yorkie a few years ago for about 5 years. My twin grandkids took him to Florida when they moved there. Milo is his name, and I really hated to get him trimmed. I used to call him my little hippie boy when it would start to get long! They have the most beautiful hair, not fur, hair! Missy here is absolutely adorable! xoxo

Well, he was theirs since birth but lived with my son and I until their mom moved them to FL. So we all got to enjoy him! Maybe one day I?ll have me another. :).

I enjoyed your fun poem, Mystery Author. Good job with the contest prompt. The picture is adorable. Your rhymes are good, there's good flow, and the message is clear. This is one spoiled, but lovable, dog. My Texas accent will have to suffice, though. Thanks for sharing. Respectfully, Jan

Your verse lends so much personality to the dog. A true lady, she loves to be pampered and coddles, but also appreaciate her elite status.
This is a great offering for the contest. Best of luck
That is one of the most adorable dogs I've ever seen. I want to pick it up and cuddle it.
