And so give and take at same time
Help love and lust become sublime
This is so true Trisha. A well written poem about the basics we want and deserve in our relationships.
cheers,

Givers are kind and do good deeds for others without wanting anything in return, while Takers try to get as much as they can from other people - it's all about getting their own needs met. Is your poem talking about lust?

Yes. Primarily lust, been there done that as a giver. Don?t want another T shirt LOL. Also, the idea does carry over to life in general
    Hugs, Trisha, thanks

Definitely a sign of the times with the attitudes you address here in Dolly's form, Trish -- love the colors you've used to help gentle the mood of confronting some hard truths you've chosen! ;) Thanx for sharing! ;) Yvette

May you find the strength to not only catch it, Trisha, but to get a good handle on it and throw it right back! ;)

I enjoyed your perfect rhyming here as you met with all the rhyming requirements Trisha. Your poem is not iambic and so the flow jars a little. Nevertheless, I loved the sentiments, love Dolly x

I never get the hang of the iambic. I wanted to try the style, but can only cope with ? see Jane run ? I appreciate your kind review,

Hey,
I really loved this Tetravalent, newly invented and enjoyed reading your poem. The way you delivered your message of about five and take is truly admirable. I really hope you'll win. Wishing you loads of luck.

A very well-written Tetravalent about relationships that need a balance of give and take on both sides. When one always gives and the other only takes the relationship is doomed.

Congratulations on this deep and meaningful piece. I applaud your sentiment. The artwork you've selected complements your poem well. Have you considered adding a font and background color?

Hi Trisha, ... Are you sure you're not related to Dr. Ruth? LOL Sex education is right up your alley, isn't it? You ought to teach a class, maybe in elementary school... not necessarily about sex, but the give and take applies to everything doesn't it? ;)

A life of learning, hindsight and a desire to help others is what drives me. Knowledge is power! they say. Thanks for a great review
