Good for you. Losing fat is hard to do, but a good-looking man can be an incentive. A clever poem with a bouncy rhythm. You're a marvel with couplets.

Yes it was nice to lose weight. My Dr was very surprised. I guess she didn't think I would do, I'm sure most people don't. I haven't been back to my Chiro for him to see the new me. =] Thanks so much. Rox

Wonderful, I love the humour you've infused in this poem, when backache is so miserable. Your rhyme scheme is great and you have a good flow, keeping me reading to the end. Excellent I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Hi Roxanna, so you have heeded his words and you've lost weight. Did it help you with your back pain? You've totally forgotten to tell us about that. A most important issue, I would say. All best. Ulla:)))

I'm fortunate that the back pain usually comes just now and then, usually with stress, so it's not all the time. But it can be so painful, I do feel for people have to deal with it daily. No fun that's for sure.

A very well-written heartfelt rhyming poem about back ache problems that can be relieved with losing some extra weight but it never solves the problem completely.

No, stress is really the main problem. I've really only had it bad twice, both related to stress and this last time was mild compared to the first. But it is not fun let me tell you. I do feel for those who deal with it daily. Thanks so much.

Doctors and chiropractors do see us in the most unflattering light. All those fun x-rays that show us what we don't want to see.
Congratulations on your weight loss. Well done.
Love the picture with Snoopy.

This is an enjoyable trip through the path to health. Your gentle rhymes and easy format make it easy to follow.
I enjoyed the logical decision-making structure as you touch on different levels of mental and social issues while dealing with physical pain and its treatment.
Your humorous final decision is not unbelievable!
And the twist that perhaps you can live with one treatment a month just to keep the pain under control is nicely worked out.

Thanks so much dear. Back pain is no picnic, but I don't have it too often, it is always related to stress, the stress monster. It is bad!

I'm so sorry, Roxanna. Keep writing and trying not to think about it. I will pray for you. Patti

First of all, congratulations on losing 16 lbs. For what it's worth, I'm fairly sure I found them on my stomach, hips and thighs.
As you so often do, you've taken a mundane, normal fact of life, and turned it into something amusing. I love that you make yourself the butt of your own jokes. I'm big on self-deprecating humor myself, and you always use it well. Overall, this is a cute poem.

I'm very sorry if my fat globs drifted your way. I did wonder what happens to all that stuff when it 's just floating around in the atmosphere. =] I think a lot of peoples landed on me. I hate them. Thanks so much dear. Rox

You're very welcome (although I must warn you that my stomach, hips and thighs are not nearly as forgiving).

I am so sorry about your back pain. That is truly no fun. Doctors of all sorts like to make observations about weight it seems. You used very good words and very cute imagery with the art work. I hope your back is feeling better my friend. love and blessings, Teri

Thanks so much. My back pain always comes with stress so I don't have it real often. Just had lots of work and I put stress on myself that I shouldn't. My boss never does that. He's very young and not too big and I think I could beat him up if he tried. =]

Congratulations on your 16lb. loss. Weight loss is so hard to do. Especially when all the sweet treats keep calling your name. Your poem is very well-written, has a nice even flow and rhymes well. I do hope your back pain doesn't give you a lot of trouble.

Thank you dear. Keeping it off is the trick. That's the hard part.

Good for you for losing so much weight. I'm sure it's not only your back that will be grateful for the reduction in weight. Your legs and feet will notice the difference too.
