Excellent

I like this mountain haiku which can be interpreted on a literal and figurative level. One must experience the lows to truly savor the highs. This is true when you hike mountains or just travel in general.

Excellent

I love the contrast of this poem. I like the height of the mountains and the lows of the valley. This is a typical metaphor, but the word "savor" gives it a special twist. It is my favorite word in this poem. The taste, the taking in, is fantastic here.
