I think you're expressing some great sentiments here, but you need to personalize it to take it to the next level. Create an articulation of your personal experience of faith, and it will feel much more relevant to the readers of your poems. Also, poetry is something of a craft, an art form, and there needs to be crafting of the language into a music. Poetry is the art of making music with language. You need to work on that aspect of it. What poets do you read? I would suggest reading plenty, to get an idea of the possibilities. estory

This is a meaningful and important message wrapped in three lines of poetry. I enjoyed reading it, and after a few re-reads, thought it might make it a bit more smooth to say, in the second line, "Jesus made The Way for us" simply to avoid any misinterpretation of those who might read, "Of all temptation Jesus made for us..." This may seem overly picky, but try reading it aloud, as if for the first time, and see what you think. If you like it just the way it is, then so do I. It is a worthy and splendid poem, and I loved the message. Best of luck in the contest. MM
