You got it brother! Nailed it, may God keep us from temptation we can avoid and keep us strong in Him when we are in it. Someone pointed out that God never tempts anyone. From His POV , such situations are a test to help us evaluate our growth in grace.
"If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small. Proverbs 24:10 (KJV)
If we fail, it's simply to teach us our weakness and the need of His strength made available in Christ.
From Satan's angle, if he can trip us up, it's to attack Christ and besmirch His name in the earth. If we do fall, we are encouraged to get up again and keep going and growing! BTW, I don't know any Christian who hasn't fallen.
Proverbs 24:16-18 (KJV)
"For a just man falls seven times, and rises up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief."
