This is a very well documented bio of William, the youngest of six children. Is this you, Bill? It appears as a well-written autobiography of yourself, but you posted this under 'General Fiction'. I hope I am assuming right, when I say that, this is a non-fictional version of your life.
You lived an industrious life with many memories to be proud of. You went from point to point with a good flow of your bio. My father was in the U.S Air Force as a meteorologist and also, after retiring from the military, taught at UCLA in Los Angeles, CA. So, when he retired the second time, he had two pensions which helped my father and mother live long lives at a nice retirement community. I am proud of him, just as I'm sure your children and grandchildren are proud of you. Thank you for sharing your honorable bio with me.
Take care, Jesse

LOL: "chase warlords around" ... I had to giggle here!! ;) :) Great offering of Bill - the condensed version! ;) :) Thanx for sharing! ;) Yvette

station 1974 when --> station until 1974 when

Ft. Sill, Olahoma --> Ft. Sill, Oklahoma

Beirut, Lebonan --> Beirut, Lebanon

Assigned to Ft. Sill --> [at this point you stopped using complete sentences... which I'm sure you probably already knew, but I thought I'd point it out just in case... :)]

    Sheesh! I guess I rushed this to press a bit quickly. I know it?s hard to believe I taught English and grammar for a hundred years. I think my vision is failing. Either that or I?m just dumber and lazier each day.

it's hard to believe you can boil your life down into such a small information packed essay. Lebonan should be Lebanon. I was in Germany in 83 when the Beirut bombing occurred.

    I think Lebanon should change their spelling, Earl.

That was quite a bio, Bill, and what a lot you've put into your life. War is terrible, all those marines and sailors murdered that way, such cowards who did it. I'm glad you found happiness again, my friend. 33 years is a long time filled with love. Well done, my friend. :)) Sandra xx
