You brought a tear down my cheek. I felt your poem from start to finish. I've had few friends such as this one of whom you wrote, hence my tear. Your friend, Jetty

Wow, thank you, Jetty, for your kind review and all the stars!!! I visited Arlington two years ago, and this poem actually came to me in a dream a few nights ago, had to write it!

You poured your soul into this and have learnt to let your imagination to flow before you, I rarely write a complete theme, but fro a starting let God's gift guide my hand, although most call it a very vague sounding muse. Beautifully written in emotive text. Written tetrametric quatrains and aabb rhyming, well done, blessing Roy

Hello Irishauthorme, a terrific Thursday to you. I really enjoyed your poem, it was a touching tribute to your long lost friend. The flow and rhymes were good and the story was told brilliantly, great job!

A very well-written poem about childhood memories and a play mate whom you found after years and still on your mind as much as it was many years ago.

Excellent poem written with varying rhythm and AABB rhyme. I would give you six stars if I had it. You conveyed a vivid memory with very well chosen words that stir up emotions.

This was a great read, irishauthorme. The rhyme scheme gave it a nice rhythm and flow which leads the reader to the sad ending. Well done, keep up the good work.
