You wrote in my favorite poetry style, 5-7-5. I like your entire presentation. My guess is the couple depicted can move those mountains in many different ways.

This is an excellent take on love. We often heartbeat love can move mountains, but it's just a saying that looks good in poetry. I think your interpretation is more accurate.

I liked the way you put it and illustrated it. We know that "faith can move mountains" but you built on that with your poem and shows that Love can encircle and completely surround hearts to move them to love. Best wishes in the contest!

You got it right about the mountains, Kahpot.
I'm in the dark, trying to unravel line two,
and I tend to doubt it touches every heart, unless self-love counts.
(If that's you in the picture, it looks like your own love life is in very good shape.)

What a touching poem about finding love and piercing the heart. The cupid's arrow evidently found this young girl's heart. Moving mountains is hard to do unless you discover a mustard seed. And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
