I agree with your words! In literal terms yes, love can not move mountains even though some people like to claim it can! Love is very much a force of nature as well and it can move mountains metaphorically! Good luck for the contest! Cheers

I agree that love can pierce the fiercest, tallest, widest, wildest mountain - but I might just have to disagree that love isn't able to move one. 'Can't' is a big, solid word when there are lots and lots and LOTS of mountains in this world. *smile*

I might be more inclined to use some variation of 'rarely'. But I do understand your message.
Your syllable count is just right -- though I had to go look up 'entirety' - here in the South, it's four all by itself! hahaha I looked at two sites AND had them pronounce it for me --> they did it both ways, so I'm sure you're good. (Some of them must be from the South, too!)
This should be a great entry. It's smart and makes the reader think and meets the requirements. Great job. Good luck!

This is a short and sweet poem which well meets the contest guidelines. The topic is romantic. I think it would have a better ring if the second line read "It circles their entirety."
