You condensed that horrible event well into your 15 syllable poem. It's just traumatic and painful when a loved one dies of a violent crime. She must of realized what kind of character he was. So sad to learn the story.

For any life to be taken in this manner is very painful. Such is, we do not know when or how our appointed time will come. Courtney, was such a beautiful and talented young woman, she is dearly missed. Portia

I hope they got the boyfriend, not that it would help you and her family.
