Absolutely hilarious. I could not have done the realtor gig with the dental floss and see-through jammies. SORRY. I would have had to set up another appointment or reach out and pull the dental floss from her mouth and offer her my coat to cover her stuff! Very well done and love the choice of title for this! Excellent!

Now, you can appreciate my bandwidth for writing. I could do ten more chapters, at least. I can't make this stuff up. Real Estate alone has its own book. I'm so glad you stopped in today!! I appreciate the wonderful review and honoring six stars. Sending you my best today as always,

hello
I enjoyed hearing about your work and how the jobs felt. What defined your categories.
Me my best job was cowgirl,
bad one, picking grapes as a seasonal worker, it was brutal work and paid almost nothing.
ugly one, logists supervisor for the post office, heartless way to mange people.

You outdid yourself on these jobs of a lifetime, Sally. :) There had to be a reason for quitting the phone job. Must have been more money. Yet, of them all motherhood is always the best. :) I'm glad you kept that one. Best of everything, mom.

Thank you so much for the outstanding review and kind compliments, dear poet. I was wondering where you were. The operators job was hard as I had to work nights and holidays, including Christmas and Thanksgiving. It wasn't easy either but a good stable job and environment. It paid for my wedding and supported Jackson and I while he was still in college. Sending you my best today as always,

This will draw many seasoned readers in to reflect upon their jobs and what each has been like. This is a very good theme to write about. I'd never thought of my jobs in those terms. Now, I'm going to have to. My 1 year, worst job was probably my first year teaching 1st grade when I requested 6th which I got thereafter. I almost lost my mind, vocation as a nun and career dream with 36 kids. If anyone learned anything it was their guardian angels guiding them. I guess my best job was being an advocate for battered women. Our staff really worked together and we made many friends with the women, keeping them safe. There are more to reflect upon. That's enough for now. A great topic.

Your godly character shines through as you shared about these jobs. I'm so glad you survived that horrible job at the public defender's office! Thank you for sharing and the "ugly" job was just very funny!

It was interesting reading of some of your career choices. I wonder how the women couldn't tell she had floss hanging out her mouth.

Just one spag:
All of my family and friends were subject to this torture - I think this should be 'subjected' but you might want to check.

Cheers
Judy

Sally,

I found this to be a most delightful read. The title took me back to the great movie The good, the bad and the ugly ...starring Clint Eastwood.

I really enjoyed your take on the good job, I'm sure you are an awesome mom. The bad job seemed to have been a nightmare. The ugly job made me laugh. Thanks for sharing a most enjoyable read. You are indeed a talented writer... It is a blessing to know you.

Blessings....Portia

-This is a very interesting project, Sally.
-I apologize in advance, but I had
to laugh out loud at the dental floss,
introduces as 'Ms. Dental Hygiene.'
-It certainly makes you wonder about people.
-Who knows, maybe your client was
a dentist or hygienist!"
-A very well written piece that flows
smoothly from one type of job to the next.
-It was very interesting to read, and
shows your love and pride of the
best job ever-being a loving mom!

I don't know if I can really participate in this one. All of my jobs have been okay. My last one got bad, but that was only because of the stress. The job was good at first and I couldn't speak bad about it, even if I left on bad terms. Weird. My husbands uncle owns his own reality place. I'm sure he has some good stories.
