We all know that Jesus is here for us whenever we need Him. It's wonderful if we are able to have gotten to know the Lord as a child. Nothing more innocent than a child in prayer. How comforting it is to know that the Lord is always there whether we asked him or not. Thank you for sharing!

Thanx so much for stopping by on this one, Patty -- not one for the 'preaching', but I do think faith is a deeply personal thing that is part of us as we 'travel' life's highways... :) :) Take care, my friend and have a great weekend! ;) Yvette

I think the same as well. At one point in life all of us take the spiritual route to try it for ourselves. Cheers :-)

Your lovely, deeply spiritual poem flows along just like life itself and the faith in God that sustains us from childhood, through each phase of life.
WHAT we pray for changes as we mature.

Love this autobiographical journey of faith. I like that you sense His angels even now connecting you back to your childhood faith. And another action of faith is prayer which we need so much more than we do. Best wishes in the contest!

What a lovely poem expressing faith through the years. I loved the line about framing life through both love and tears. It is so true, we need our faith through the ups and downs. Beautifully illustrated as well. Good luck in the contest.

Your poem is a good representation of what faith is at different stages of life. I never thought of that before! The older we get, we see more clearly
we have been watched over by angels I think:)
Goid luck with this very cool poem!

The first stanza it really resonates with me, and I think it settles the intonation for the rest of the poem."There where angels I just knew watching me and watching you"suspense then love and tears and the culmination angels are still there. Thank you for sharing and good luck with the contest.

Remind us about faith is not a preaching thing, life gets us in a wrong direction and only faith puts us back on track.

We begin our lives with Faith in Angels and as we grow our Faith shifts degree by degree in different ways with the things that are relevant to a particular time. You depict the ages well in your poem and wonder of wonders we end up with the Angels. Nicely done.

So beautiful! This is filled with much wisdom! How foolishly we perceive faith when we are young, prayers given for our benefit! And now in life we find prayers are said for reasons outside of ourselves for important things! Love this! xoxo

Hi Yvette. The picture is interesting. My personal view of faith is stated in Hebrews 11:1. Faith is invisible but the results can be visible or invisible. You have many of the things that are effected by faith. Good luck in the contest.
