I choose to live life each day - I think that is a standout positive message in your poem. It's up to us how we choose to live, with a smile or a frown, preferably a smile. Lovely verse Patricia, well said.
cheers,
valda

Good advice, when you live your life as it is the last day you supposed to make the best of it; sometimes people choose the reckless side other time they make amendments

So true. There's nothing we can do about the past except learn from it and move on. If we don't then our past will define us. What a beautifully written poem with a strong message behind it, very nicely done.

Great advice, as of yet, I still have a hard time living in the moment. Unfortunately my mind races. I need to just trust in the Lord to take care of tomorrow. I can't change the past, but I can live for a better tomorrow.

How lovely your verse is Patricia. It is so comforting to make peace with our past when we realize that the Lord has forgiven all of it. Your pretty artwork is such a nice accompaniment to your poem. Well done.

I know this is a very simple poem and I think some people save the sixes for the complex ones. I give sixes to the poems I can FEEL. This poem says all we need to know in life. If it said " love your neighbor" somewhere, it could be a bible. Beautiful.

I liked this poem about leaving our past with God and doing our best in the present to honor him. I think it would be even better if you chose to develop a consistent meter for the lines.
