I think this is a good spiritual verse.
Nicely written and the message is strong and clear.
The picture is a good match.
Thank you so much for sharing this one with us.

Like your work here as peace is such an eluding concept in this day and age. Both external and internal peace are in short supply all round. What with wars and terrorism and every such thing! So here's to peace and prosperity for years to come! Cheers

Thank you for the look at my poem about this elusive thing, peace. I like how you pointed out the two kinds of peace. Yes, both are needed!
    Thanks for the review!

"Yeah verily...though I walk through the valley of the shadow of Death...I will fear no evil." This reminds me of that...one of my favorite quotes for inspiration. I'm not certain if we never doubt...like Thomas. But even doubt is an illusion and overcome by Faith.

I loved your comments. Yes we do doubt, but deep down we really know He is who He says He is. That verse really does relate. Thanks for quoting that!

I feel the same about you my friend. It is amazing when we truly love Him people seem to come into our life that love Him also.

    That's so true! We are
    sisters after all! There's just
such an easy bond with others
that love the Lord. It doesn't
happen with every Christian, but you're right. He puts people
    where they are needed!!

This is wonderful, Tina. First off I got a big charge from the bird. I'm a fan of those little critters.

Peace is best and you have in four well composed stanzas stated it clearly to match Matthew 18:3.

This made me smile so thank you for sharing. :)

Great message, Tina. You're right that we have that peace in the Lord! And I think you made a new poetic form. Did you just make it up? Or does it already have a name? If not, you should name it - Meditation poem with the focus word as one word that starts each 6 line stanza and the rhyme scheme is xabcdd.

You are the second person to suggest that!
I just made it up as I went along. I will look into naming it if it's not already a thing:) Thanks for the idea!

Thank you, Tina, for this beautiful expression of the peace that only Jesus Christ can give. Unfortunately for me, the anxieties of my human emotions overwhelm me often, and it's hard to experience His peace, prevailing over all. I appreciate this well written reminder of its simplicity.

I hear you:) I was just talking to my cousin about her anxiety. We had a long talk about how even Christians who depend on God have anxiety problems and need medicines. I am not promoting meds...I am just saying I understand how you feel, and I am sorry you have to deal with it. I will
your emotions calm and God sends you extra peace whenever you need it.
    Hugs!

What a loving format, Tina -- you should use a few more times and define it so that others may follow!! ;) Its employment here is very effective and I thoroughly enjoyed -- be sure to 'wow' us again soon!! ;) :) If I had a six it would be yours for originality and testimony -- please accept my humble virtual6!! ;) :) Thanx for sharing! ;) Yvette

Thank you so much for this review, and suggestion to play with the form some more and give this format a name. I just might do that, and call it the tinette! That sounds kinda cool! I will take the virtual six and treasure it:)

This is a simple but big poem. When we see God love for us combined with His caring way, we are rested in our peace, unruffled and undisturbed. Beautifully penned and illustrated, dear Tina. A fine offering of epic proportions.
Sending you my best today as always,
Sally xoxo
